The Montauk is an east coast style restaurant + lounge with sea side decor. Fun place for day or night drinking.
Wine-lovers will want to plan a stop at 5th and Wine, Old Town's favorite wine bar, featuring a 60-seat dining room and 40-seat tasting room.
Chop Shop is a favorite of mine. Their salads and juices are the absolute best.
As you are wandering around Downtown, you'll run into some incredible shops. Ruze Cake House & Teapressa are a must see.
The Great Outdoors!
Not far from Old Town is Camelback Mountain. On Camelback Mountain, you will find two other trails (Cholla and Echo Canyon) that are less intense than Camelback itself. But for my true Hikers, you will get a kick out of Camelback. Be Prepared to be on your hands and knees to get to the very top!
After you are exhausted from your hike, you can walk down to any restaurant nearby and I can guarantee you there will be brunch available.
Olive & Ivy serves a great mimosa.
The Patio area of Olive & Ivy is open all day. It's the perfect place to relax after dinner and people watch.
The nightlife is one of the best in the state of Arizona. We have streets that have are lined with bars, lounges, and dance clubs. Come on any Friday or Saturday night and you’ll see groups of people walking from one club to the next. Lit golf carts picking up and dropping off people.. The energy is liberating! If you're not a dance club kind of person, there are plenty of dive bars, wine bars, Cigar bars, and lounges available for your amusement.
You can never ever go wrong with ordering Culinary Dropouts' Pretzel Fondue.
I can't tell you have many bachelorette parties I've gone to in Old Town. Bottled Blonde was always on the list of places to stop off at.
For my country music lovers, Whiskey Row is the place to be and be seen.
My final thoughts..If you're looking to live in a location that is designed around lifestyle then scottsdale is the place for you. With its authentic restaurants, lively nightlife, and some of the best people watching around, scottsdale is an endearing place where the old west meets the new.
Lots of Love,
